4. Would you like to spend a fall weekend in the colorful North Carolina Mountains with other like-minded mountain bikers having fun riding your bike, sharing mountain bike success stories, and socializing and learning with fellow mountain bikers?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then the IMBA-SORBA Club Care weekend is for you!
IMBA, the NOC, and the USFS have partnenered to bring you a weekend of just what you need. If you want to exchange ideas about mountain biking organizations and their importance in creating sustainable trails, get some National Mountain Bike Patrol training, receive USFS chainsaw certification, and ride your bike in the autumn color s of North Carolina, this is the weekend you have been waiting for.
Cost for the weekend is $25.00, which includes Lunch and dinner on Saturday. NOC will offer a 10% discount on all other meals for registered participants. Participants are welcome to bring their own food and prepare their own meals at the Base Camp kitchen.

The USFS Chainsaw certification is limited to six (6) participants and all participants must have proof of current First Aid and CPR certifications.

3:00 – 7:00 Registration and Welcome: Rivers End Restaurant, NOC
4:00 – Ride with the IMBA Trail Care Crew
7:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Welcome at NOC and overview of weekend activities/instructions, Kleinrath Hall.
7: 30 – 9:00 Club Care Workshop, Kleinrath Hall.
Saturday, October 17

9:00 – 11:00: National Mountain Bike Patrol training
